Hard Shell 4.3" (Wide Screen) GPS Carrying Case with Strap for Select Garmin Nuvi Models

I bought this to hold my Garmin Nuvi when I'm travelling. I don't want to leave the GPS in my car when I get out, since it is a power thief-magnet. And I don't want to just slip it into my pocket, because I know it will eventually either fall out or get crushed. This case will hold the Nuvi with room to spare, and appears to be pretty crush-resistant while retaining a light weight. What I really wanted though, and couldn't find, is a smaller case with a belt strap or clip, like they have for cell phones, so I could just wear this on my belt when I'm out of the car. That way, potential thieves could see the GPS leaving the car with me, and I wouldn't have to keep track of the case and unit when I'm in a restaurant or at another stop.

So, I give this 4-stars because it does what it's supposed to do, but not 5-stars because a simple belt strap would make it infinitely more useful.

I wanted something that would protect my GPS and would be compact in size. This fits the bill. It has enough firmness to the case to provide safety for the GPS. There is still room inside to place the charger and the USB cable. The strap works great for me. I hook it to my purse so my hands are free. I really appreciated the cleaning cloth that was enclosed. The company had great service and surprised me with follow-up. Finally, someone who cares!!!!! I would definitely order again from this company.

I do like this, it protects the Garmin well. It doest fit the charger in with the Garmin (although a tight fit) but does not fit or have anything that you can put the suction cup in or on. It would be nice if there was room for it or if there was a loop or something so they're all connected. Other than that, I like it.

I got this item as a Christmas gift for my husband along with a Garmin Nuvi. He really likes it. It is roomy in an appropriate way. It also has a nice Hard Shell that can hold his "new toy" safely, which makes him happy. I'm happy that I got it for him.

I purchased this case for my new Garmin nuvi 260W and it is just perfect. My Garmin fits nicely in the sleeve inside the case, leaving room for a small pad, pen, and the charger. The exterior is hard enough to protect the unit and looks nice.

After just recently purchasing a wide screen Garmin GPS, I decided on purchasing this unit to protect our new toy. After receiving this, I immediately noticed the size of the case and its almost deep enough to hold two units in it. Its not big enough to hold any of the accessories and just seems like wasted space. It would be perfect if it was a little smaller. It protects the GPS unit like intended.

Too bulky and a weird shape. I don't believe this case was designed for a GPS. It's big enough for accessories like the power cord but I don't want to take a chance that I'll scratch the GPS. There are better choices that fit like a glove and offer the same protection.

Defnitely takes a lot of use and abuse, and still looks good. The case has been dropped, flung out, and dragged, and it still looks good. A couple of small rub spots, but is still holding it shape. The Garmin is fully protected. Overall, a great product.

This is a good case. Just wish there was a bit more room for power cords.
