This game was OK. Some of the questions were extremely hard, no ridiculously hard. Other were ridiculously easy. If you know EVERY detail about EVERY episode of EVERY Star Trek series (note: not just watched them, but studied them, tested on them, and received a BS degree in Star Trek, graduating with at least a 3.5 GPA; Masters Degrees are preferred) then you will really like this game. If you just like Star Trek and want to play a simple trivia game about it, this might be a bit advanced in questioning.

I've seen all of the Star Trek series, each of the movies, including the new one and could hardly play this game. Asking for minor character names and episode names means you've got to be a fairly serious trekker to play and get the answers the game wants. I did like the reaction-style games for tie breakers with the dvd remote though.

The nice thing about this game is that it covers all of the Star Trek TV shows and movies. The not-so-nice thing is that the DVD doesn't have enough material on it and starts repeating the live clips sooner than we'd like. At least different questions are asked about the same live clips so that you don't have the exact same question each time you see a clip. The trivia cards are excellent - they range in difficulty from very easy to super-difficult and there are a lot of them.
I know from reading online that a lot of people actually play the board game with these Scene-It games, but I've never actually met anyone in real life who does. Everyone I know just shouts out the answers as they are shown on the DVD or read from a trivia card with no one keeping score. We have most of the Scene-it games and we tried the board game once, found it cumbersome and now just play it in sessions of either all-DVD or all-cards -- but no board/dice/moving pieces. Basically, if you're a Star Trek fan, you'll enjoy this game and it is worth buying.
