If you like Balderdash and you like the Scene It games, you're going to love this game. It's fun, funny, highly interactive and a total blast. Players are shown a clip on DVD, and they must describe what exactly is happening. I am at a complete loss as to where they got some of these clips, but they are hilarious.

My one complaint about this game (and the entire line of Scene It games) is that they sort of defeat the idea of turning off the television and playing a board game, but for any household who thinks they watch too much TV, at least this is a step away from trashy primetime shows, and for families who don't watch much TV at all, you have nothing to worry about. In any case, the game is fun, unique and well thought out.

I just bought this game after hearing about it from a friend as well as seeing the commercial on VH1. It is one of the best games I've ever bought because it's so different and also because it totally brings the humor out of people you didn't even know were funny! So, images and film clips pop up on the TV screen from the DVD (which features LOTS of content) and prompt you to do things like fill in the blank, make up a funny caption or headline or finish the phrase, and a guesser has to figure out who said what. We played for about 2 hours straight and laughed really hard.

The photos are hilarious! And there are so many different puzzle categories. I've never seen anything like this game, but the clear instructions made it easy to pick up. The best part about this game is that EVERYONE plays in EVERY round...so there is no downtime between plays.

I am a youth leader and played this game twice in the past month with students in my church youth group. It was an absolute hit both times, for students in grades 7 all the way up to 12. The clips and photos are really goofy, and the stuff we came up with was just hilarious. One of the best games I've ever used with youth!

In a nutshell, my friends and I love love love this game. It is so much fun. My only qualifier is that this game is very simple. It shows pictures / movie clips / etc. and you have to make up the funniest lines to enhance them. In other words, the "tools" of the game are extremely simple and enjoyment of the game comes from having a funny / creative group. I'm surrounded by very funny people, which is why this is our favorite.

If you're like me, then you're probably tired of the endless barrage of DVD-based board games. But this game is actually quite a lot of fun! We have family come over sometimes once or twice a week just to play this game!

The basic idea of the game is that the DVD randomly chooses a photo, a short video clip in a foreign language, a common saying with some of the words taken out, or something else like that. Then, everyone (except the person guessing) has some time to make up a caption to the photo, to make a headline that matches the photo, to make up some dialogue to the video clip, or to complete the phrase with their own words inserted. These are then read aloud and the guesser has to try to figure out who wrote each entry. So, the game is a little bit like Balderdash, but there is no one right answer. As you might expect, this game is great for large groups of adults because things can get pretty funny depending on who is in the group.

Anyway, my wife loves this game and I'm sure you'll enjoy it as well.

This was a great game for our family of 20 somethings, parents and friends. We laughed and laughed so hard at the possibilities and answers given. GREAT GAME!!

We love this game. All family and friends that have played with us love it. The game is hysterical and unique to each group that plays. For instance, the more adult groups might share different "Quips" then they would if players under 18 years old are playing. Whatever the group dynamics are we have had lots of fun with this game. Generally we play without the board (using only the DVD, paper and pens). We have found that without the board the game becomes open to all no matter when they arrive or need to leave... We have had tons of fun during family reunions, BBQs, etc. with QUIPIT

Fantastic game. Can't wait to play it again. I just have to get enough people together. The more the merrier. Would be kind of stupid with 3 people. Six or more would be better. I Recommend this game.

This is a fun way to spend a family game night. It can be played by anyone who can spell even our 6 year old played with us and we laughed at her answers the most.
