Used for a few days now. The technology is really cool, and the bulb is cool to the touch after hours of use. Nice and bright too.
We have the white version, it is a slightly green-blue tinged white. Two negatives -- (1) the light is too cold for a living area, it has no "warmth" of color. (2) While the lens does provide a diffusion of light, it is a directional lamp. It projects a wide cone of light upwards -- or outwards, as the shaded lamp we are using it with has sideways mounted bulbs. |
