The item description does not say that its good replacement for 25W bulbs. I was thinking it was for 50-60W bulb based on picture and unclear details.

Same seller has other same item that explicitly states that its for 25 watt bulb.

Anyway its okay for 25W bulbs. I ordered 3 and got one that had few leds burnt out. Otherwise everything worked.

I've tried a number of LED light bulbs, and this one is impressive. It is very reasonalbly priced and gives fairly warm lighting. In certain situations, (color of the room, the lamp, ect), it gives off a very attractive glow. In others, it can look like a florescent. It is the equivalent to 30 watts of a standard bulb, but for $10, you can't beat the price.

I use this in a reading lamp that swings over my bed. I needed a low profile bulb that didn't produce a lot of heat. I have used cfl and incandescent bulbs in the fixture. The former are physically too large, and the latter get too hot. The fixture is only a foot or two from my head when it's extended so heat and bulb size were an issue. This bulb is perfect for that purpose. It's more than bright enough to read a book or a kindle. Other than accent lighting or as a nightlight I can't think of any other good uses for this bulb.

This is a good bulb for use in applications where a light must be left on for long periods, such as a porch light. It can cause some radio interference if located close to a radio. I've had one for a couple of years that is on all night, and it's still working fine. It doesn't seem to be as bright as a 25w incandescent, but it's close.

These LED bulbs are not really "warm" white light, but unlike a lot of led lighting they are not too miserably blue to use indoors (like the otherwise excellent and indestructible Westinghouse Nanolux). The bulbs emit perfectly reasonable pure white light, though I would compare the output to that of a 15-25 watt bulb. If you have a multi-bulb E26 vanity fixture over your bathroom mirrors like we do (which used to be full of 25 watt incandescents), then you have a really good application for this bulb. Also, reading lamps come to mind, and we are also using them in single bulb hallway fixtures where we only need enough light to walk safely. My only complaint is that we bought them in two different batches, and the color is slightly different between the two batches. Not a big deal, but noticeable. Good product overall if you want to start enjoying LED energy savings. We will probably buy more.

Bought a second one, they've ended up in a hallway fixture and porch light, both of which now stay on 24x7. Not as bright as the 75W bulbs they replaced, but plenty bright for the purpose and uses so much less energy.

Compared to compact fluorescents these are about twice as efficient, but still much more expensive. And safer... while there are toxic chemicals used in production of LEDs, none of them end up in the bulb so you don't have to worry about what would happen if one broke.

Compared to incandescents, the up-front cost is ridiculous, but the long lifetime means you save time changing bulbs. And they run so very much cooler. This particular model has the same warm white color as incandescents, so don't let worries about "bluish LEDs" stop you. For a difficult-to-replace location or a light that needs to stay on for long periods, can't beat LED.

And hopefully the price keeps going down, as economies of scale take effect. I'll definitely be buying more, but I'll also be waiting as long as possible hoping the price goes down.

Not super bright but great with a diffuser. Great night hallway light that wont get too hot and wont waste excessive energy. Great buy!!! Something you can forget on without feeling guilty.

This bulb is about as bright as a 15 watt incandescent bulb. It made some TV interference. 6 of 12 led bulbs I tried made some TV interference, one of them much worse than this one. In the fixture in which I used this fairly weak bulb it sometimes ruined the picture and sound on one TV station I sometimes watch, therefore I stopped using it.
