4.0 out of 5 stars A legion of DC Heroes and Villains October 30, 2013
Platform for Display:Nintendo 3DS
Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
When trying to find that next game to play one of the things that gets overlooked is originality. One of the games that I discovered when I had my DS was a game called Scribblenauts. This action puzzle game allowed you to create items out of thin air. How did you do this? Simply by typing a name onto the touchpad you could summon everything from a ladder to a helicopter! Now 5th Cell along with Warner Brothers Entertainment is releasing a new adventure called Scribblenauts Unmasked a DC Comics Adventure. But is this an adventure that you should take or should you just stick to DC comics?

As the name suggests this game takes place in the DC universe and has such iconic locations as Gotham City and Metropolis. But instead of summoning some random objects to help you with puzzles you summon iconic DC characters. From the iconic heroes such as Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman to some of the lesser known characters such as Brother Eye and Dex-Starr.

You can also assign various attributes so you can make Super Batman or Zombie Superman. There are over 1000 characters that you can choose from and with all these choices you can replay each of the mission giving you hours of playability. But what if you have no idea what to summon or if your character is in the game? That what the bat computer is included for as a reference you can look up every object and character in the game.

Also one of the things that you can is create your own unique hero or villain to take on some of these great foes. You can create your character out of parts of the characters that are in the game creating your own special look. Imagine your own creation going up against Doomsday or the Joker? You can do that in this game!

4.0 out of 5 stars A Great Game November 1, 2013
Platform for Display:Nintendo 3DS|Verified Purchase
This is pretty obviously aimed mostly at kids, but it brought me in because of the DC comics setting. It has a great deal of playability, and you can keep going after the main game is over. My only problem with it is that the world's a bit too limited, and it doesn't have nearly the depth of DC-detail that it promised (either that, or they weren't expecting a 45+ year reader to be testing it).

4.0 out of 5 stars Great game overall!!! October 8, 2013

Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
This game is great but the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it doesn't have the create your won hero mode like the Wii U. Other than that the game is great and it covers all the library of DC characters.

4.0 out of 5 stars It's a good game but sometimes confusing January 5, 2014

The game controls are somewhat confusing at times. If you can't spell English words very well, it is sometimes difficult.
