The funniest Baby Blues yet. Most people who read this book won't be able to stop themselves from snickering, groaning, shanking their heads and laughing out loud. The authors shine a bright spotlight on the things kids do to drive us crazy. The stunned, exhausted and often times fatalistic looks on the faces of the parents in the book are the same looks we have all seen on the faces of the people around us. The children look at their parents with innocent eyes and wonder what all the fuss is about. What makes it all so funny is that each of us knows someone who is/was exactly like one or more of the characters in the book. The different interests and behavior patterns between boys and girls is clearly shown in this issue. This is one of the best books on childrearing I have ever seen. It's honest, funny and doesn't give parents false hope. It also shows us that life isn't to be taken too seriously and that everyone is in the same predicament. Very funny and believable book. Oh, one more thing...it might be possible that one or two of us were exactly the same as the kids portrayed in this wonderful book but, of course, I could be wrong about that.

I purchased this book to go along with all the other Baby Blues Scrapbook series and am very happy with it. The book shows the ups and downs of having three rambunctious kids and is very funny. I'll be watching for the next installment, hopefully soon!!

We own all the Baby Blues books. The parents & kids in the strip are funny because they're grounded in the loud, smelly, dirty, loving, sleepless, happy reality of having & raising children. The strips are mostly outright hilarious. They are sometimes poignant, but never sappy or preachy. There is no overarching "soap opera" filled with angst, as is found in many similar strips. These strips are just fun, funny, funniest. Our elementary-age son loves them, also.

The strip has matured and continues to be funny, not always the case with other "maturing" strips. Not as good as the first 2-3, or the great ones in the 12th to 16th collections, but still really good.

all the baby blues books are so fabulous. if you are a parent or around little kids a lot, you will be able to relate to all the adventures of the McPherson family. and besides for the zany antics of the characters, the authors of this comic strip throw in some really beautiful philosophical insights every now and then. hope they continue writing the strip for a long, long time.

The funny happenings of the MacPhersons clan continues continues in the 29th "Baby Blues" scrapbook, SCRIBBLES AT AN EXHIBITION. The book collects strips that originally ran in newspapers from Mar. 14, 2011 - Dec. 3, 2011. There's the usual "Baby Blues" strips: Wanda being overworked, Hammie doing all kinds of crazy boy stuff, and Zoe worrying about fashion. However, there are also several longer story arcs or series: "When You Say, They Must Hear" series, there's a storyline where Wanda takes Hammie to get a haircut and they find a tick which closes the entire place for fumigation, there's another story arc that follows Darryl as he lets Hammie help him mow the yard; and there's another series where Wanda's old work friend, Stephanie, comes to visit and she ends up envying Wanda and Wanda ends up envying her. I particularly enjoy the Sunday "Baby Blues" strips which often feature allusions to some famous pop culture icon, event, or historical figure. The Smothers Brothers, Smurfs, Marx Brothers, the Peanuts, and Galileo are some of the references in these strips. Overall, it's another great collection of "Baby Blues" comic strips.

My wife and I have had many a laugh along with Daryl and Wanda, we sometimes find ourselves just looking at each other and saying "wow, did they nail it or what!" Another great book, now I even have our teenage kids reading it and laughing along as well.[
