5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent reference book on scrollsaw and technique, March 25, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Scroll Saw Bench Guide (Bench Guides) (Paperback)
Full of tips and techniques this is an indispensable reference book by an expert in his field. Clearly written with quick reference chapter finder, this book is a true benchtop reference. Very complete coverage of machines, jigs and accessories with comprehensive sections on blade types, selection and usage. Sections on cutting wood and other materials eg bone, plastic. Particularly informative chapter on cutting techniques which shows, amongst other things, how to get inlays to fit perfectly. This book has been so popular it has been reprinted.

4.0 out of 5 stars Book review, October 9, 2005
This review is from: Scroll Saw Bench Guide (Bench Guides) (Paperback)
It is a good book but I disagree with some statements and explanations about how and where to use the scroll saw blades. He uses Olson blades which are not the best quality on the market right now. The scroll saw blades changes constantly. There is now a complete new spiral blade on the market. You can find information in the Scroll Saw Workshop magazine, issue # 21.
