From Library Journal
Scroll sawing designs from thin wood is one of the most popular woodcrafts, being comparatively easy, safe, and inexpensive. This title includes over 50 patterns for plaques commemorating the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard. Both general and unit/era specific such as those for recruiters, rangers, or World War II veterans designs are provided. Basic construction and finishing tips as well as instructions showing how to personalize the plaques are given. Projects of this type sell well at craft shows or make good gifts for those who are justifiably proud of their military service. A nice choice for most collections.
