I really like how these clean. takes little effort to clean the dirt and grime off my shower using these pads. just dampen and scrub in a circular motion. the pad does come apart sometimes, especially when I'm doing the shower wall, but if I hold it right it works out okay. I think if they could have designed these better to they didnt tear apart during use that they would have sold better and would not have been discontinued. You can still get some of these at some discount stores and here online through various sellers at Amazon - until they run out.
I wrote to the company and they confirmed the discontinuance and recommended the Scrubbing Bubbles Mega Shower Foamer. I've tried that once so far and it works okay, but seems like I have to use a lot of it to get the job done.

I admit to being very picky as most of my reviews are negative. This is not the case here. Another reviewer mentioned simply using these replacement pads only and not bothering with the handle and it's expense. I agree. We have very hard water of 25 grains. We have a water softener, but we also have 3 teens which sometimes run out the soft water. I have not washed our shower in several years, just poured bleach in the bottom every 2 weeks. Anyway, there was a thin film of calcium on the shower door along with some build up in the corners and edges. I also found a little black mold (not into shower cleaning being established here). I just purchased a package of these and cleaned the shower and door just last night. I ran hot water on the shower walls for a few minutes before starting. The chemical on the pad melted through the calcium, easily cleaned the corner goo, and did just as well as a scrub brush with comet along the glass edge as I tested for this. Watch your eyes when using this for they warn about this. I cleaned the entire shower in minutes and it looked great. I folded the open side of the package and remaining pads, placed a Chip-Clip over the folded opened end, and stored for next time. This was so painless that I am likely to clean more often. Just to teach it a lesson, I went over the entire thing again with a scrub brush and Comet but I did not notice any improvement. The shower was not terrible before, but we were considering replacing it. Not anymore!
