This is the second time I have purchased this particular gnome. My first was several years ago. He is cute and lights up after dark. His batteries lasted a long time. He washes up well if he gets dusty in the yard. He hasn't faded. Great little guy! When I realized my niece needed a gnome, I immediately looked around in local stores to find this kind again. No luck. Then I Googled gnomes and there he was, and I could buy him through Amazon. My niece loves him to pieces. He is great for guarding your garden. He never complains and doesn't insist on a lot of traveling.

I bought this gnome at a local store here in town, and that was a few years ago. It still works, I leave it outside in the rain, during all 3 seasons here. I am so happy with how long it's lasted. The nose, hat & face, light up, and the lantern that is hanging flickers, all night long. It uses batteries, and they last me most of the season. It sit's inside my garden w/my hosta's, and has faded only a little bit. The bird poop, is the only thing that's hard to remove. I ordered 2 more, to give to friends. Much better than the solar items !!!

I love cute yard decor and have been searching for a larger Gnome. This Gnome lights up by the means of batteries which normally I would stay away from but other reviewers were saying how much brighter it was than something solar so I got it.
It is cute, but if I had seen it in person verses just on the web I wouldn't have purchased it at this 30+ price. I expected it to be much brighter running on batteries however they do seem to last a long time. But I would have to strongly disagree that it is brighter than solar items. In fact I have solar items that ARE brighter than this Gnome.
I would have gladly paid more like 15 dollars for this item, but I wouldn't recommend it at this price with the added price of batteries as well.

We have had our little gnome for over 6 years. It has traveled with us camping and has been wonderful. The solar feature no longer works because one winter the batteries leaked and corroded the terminals. It is a great way to mark your camp site for those long walks back from the restroom.

Got this for my hubbie for the backyard, and we both love it! The Gnome lights up every night. We like it so much we'd like to get another Gnome that lights up.

This guys seems good quality, and the batteries seem to last pretty long. And he's cute to boot!

This gnome looks great in my backyard. The husband is happy, so I am happy. Great looking and arrived in a timely fashion. I will probably buy more for the garden!

I was so relieved to find someone who actually carried this particular garden gnome . I had been searching for it in all my local stores because it has a special meaning to me. I was thrilled to received it quickly and
in perfect condition.
