Great light. Not quite as bright as I would have liked, and I wish it came with an AC adapter, or that I could order one for it. We keep ours inside to prolong battery life.

Stopped working almost immediately. Changed batteries...turned it on...nothing. I'm very very disappointed. If you are looking for a lighted flamingo...don't buy this particular one.

The flamingo is fantastic. I wish it would get a little brighter, but that is my only (very minor) complaint. It stands up nicely and looks awesome in the daytime as well as at night.

I like the way it looks but i have had it almost 48 hrs and so far i cannot get it to light up at night....i have it in my backyard which is completely dark..when package arrived an i took flamingo out of box i noticed you can hear something moving around inside flamingo......like a small piece of something...i dont know if item doesnt work because of that or not..but it has been out in sun all day....95 degrees and sunny and it doesnt work....very disappointed....

It's cute and works fine. However one of the legs was broken and I didn't find out until the gift was opened. We glued it back together and so far so good.

Gotta admit I was more then a little nervous after reading the reviews here. I went ahead and chose to pay a couple dollars more and buy direct from Amazon. The flamingos take 4 "D" batteries a piece. Photo cell for night/day usage. Easy assembly using a Phillips screwdriver. These come with a 6" metal spike to anchor on the ground. Which works well for dry areas, although I would not long term anchor anywhere where they might blow over or get wet on a regular basis. The color on these is FANTASTIC with painted eyes and beak.

Bought these for a Christmas gift for the wife. She loves flamingos and thought these made a great gift.

Downsides? No A/C so you are dependent upon D batteries. Batteries mounted in base so even though the base appeared sealed up well I would not want to get it too wet. Rain would be fine. Single spike makes choosing spot for them to nest perhaps a little difficult. We ended up putting them in our entry way just to avoid someone stealing them (yes they are that cool looking).

I'm going to order these again when I can purchase them Prime from Amazon or Prime from Amazon vendor.

THEM BACK TO K MART FOR REFUND.... (THEY ALSO LOOKED AS IF THEY HAD BEEN
ALREADY USED BUT INSIDE BRAND NEW BOXES!) (TRACES OF BATTERY ACID LEAKAGE)... 1 OF THREE WE DID KEEP CAUSE I SO LOVE FLAMINGOS
GIVES ME TROUBLE ALL OF THE TIME... CANT USE OUTSIDE AFRAID IT WOULD GET
DAMAGED & NEVER WORK AT ALL AGAIN...
I USE IT INDOORS. SOMETIMES IT LIGHTS UP ALL OVER LIKE IT SHOULD SOMETIMES IT DOES NOT.... SOMETIMES ONLY BODY LIGHTS SOMETIMES ONLY
HEAD & NO LIGHTS IN NECK... IT IS ALOT OF GRIEF FOR $15.00-$20.00!
ALWAYS GIVES TROUBLE WITH BATTERIES ON CONNECTORS LIKE WE HAD NOTICED ON
THE OTHER 2 WE RETURNED!
LIKE I SAY TOTALLY LOVE THESE BUT TOTALLY THE WORST PRODUCT!
WE ALSO HAVE THE LADYBUG SUNFLOWER SOLAR LIGHT & THAT WORKS ALWAYS WITH
OUT EVER GIVING ANY TROUBLES!

TO OUR SHOCK THE 1 (FLAMINGO)WE DID ACTUALLY KEEP EXPLODED ONE AFTERNOON & SPLATTERED BATTERY ACID ALL
OVER OUR SLEEPING SONS! CLOTHES GOT HOLES IN THEM & SOOT ASH MARKS! HIS FACE & SKIN GOT SOOTY BURN MARKES.... I will never by from them again!
