Not sure what these are good for.,

I sharpened one, threw it at a target we'd been using for years and the "hardwood" handle broke on the first throw.
I'd been debating whether to send them back, or try to replace the handle. these are pretty light weight, might be good for a lady or a young tomahawk thrower. Our martial arts class has been throwing tomahawks for years, most of what we've used has been home made stuff, that has begun to wear out. I thought maybe try these since they were pretty inexpensive, we could rebuild our supply. They don't look bad if you're the type that likes weapons for display only. If you really want to throw, either make them yourself or spend more money.

The product came in quickly and for the momey I guess it is OK. The head is very loose on the handle. I used the water trick and it worked for a while. I will have to find a better way to shim up the handle. The steel is not great and it is very hard to put a good edge on it. However, if you want a light wt. belt carry Tomahawk you could do worse.

After you try to use it and it breaks the company than explains it is only meant to be used for decoration. The blade is flattenned and the handle is cheap and thin. DO NOT BUY THIS.

I received the stupid thing broken, not to mention it was about sharp as cardboard.
So when I tried to return it I was told I have to pay more money to ship it back. I emailed The company told them that was an outrage and they returned my email after a week said they couldn't Find my customer info. So I Emailed them the info and never heard anything back so I'm still stuck With a broken POS tomahawk. Thanks BUDK.

Not for throwing,

This product would be great if it said they were for show. I got six of them for chritsmas to start learning to throw axes, this ended badly. Once I opened them and inspected the axes I Found that you would sooner bludgeon someone before you could actually stick them with it. I would need an industrial grinder to put any kind of edge on these. And yes i understand that throwing axes don't need to be super sharp to work, but the striking edge should not be flat. None of this would be a problem except that it costs more in shipping to sent them back than they costed to begin with. If you want somthing to stick on your wall and look nice and rustic these are great. If you want to throw just buy something else.
