This Frankie Ford CD contains everything that he recorded for Ace Records; wonderful, rockin', rollin' classic New Orleans material. If you buy only one Frankie Ford CD, this should be it. Of course, his recent release on Avanti Records, "FRANKIE FORD - A NEW ORLEANS TRADITION" shows Frankie's powerful 1998 vocals backed by the original 50's & 60's music tracks. Frankie still rocks n' rolls on stages all over the world. . . a real world class entertainer!

This is an excellent collection of New Orleans rocker / R & b singer Frankie Fords best songs from his top era in the late fifties/ early sixties. It features"Sea Cruise" , "Roberta" , "Amlimony" and many other great tunes. Remastering is nicely done and these vintage songs sound great.
