This was $119 at Sams Club. After much consideration, we decided to try it out because Sam's Club has such a great return policy. Well, we wont be returning it. My kids - ages 7 and 8 - have had more fun with this scooter in the pool. Im not sure why the negative reviews, but perhaps it doesnt ship well. Anyway Sam's Club lets you return an item at anytime if it breaks, so we will be sticking with it. The charge does take quite some time, but lasts forever - the kids have used it a whole day it seems and the packaging said something like 30 minutes.

I bought one of these units from Sharper Image, 2 years before they closed their retail stores. My son lovesd using it in our pool and we bought a second one the following season. With two friends over, one kid sits out.... that stinks. We bought two more units (cheaper) from another retailer and are very happy with them all. They still fun fine, but the batt's will last 2 to 3 years. I have found vendors that sell them for $[...] to $[...] on line. It pulls me (175 lbs)around the pool just a bit slower than my 11 years old. For a super cheap price, this is one hell of a toy. "real" scooters sell for thousands

Sea Scooter is excellent under water, battery lasts almost 2 hours and recharges very quick. Excellent for children to use in pool.

The Sea-Doo Seascooter has been a wonderful investment! We recently returned from a vacation where my 11 grandchildren took turns using it in our private pool and they enjoyed it immensely. One family took it to the lake when they went boating and the adults used it as much as the children. I'm thinking of buying an extra battery to give them even more time to enjoy this great product.

Got this Seascooter for the pool, and it way exceeded my admittedly modest expectations. So far the neighbors and visitors haven't been able to destroy it, despite constant pool use. The battery worried me, recharge takes overnight and it could use a backup battery (available to order), yet the one lasts well over an hour, and by then it's time to get a rest anyway. While it's too small for a serious diver propulsion vehicle (goes slow) kids LOVE it.

We have used several of these for over a year---in lakes as well as our pool. The kids love them. I was impressed with how long the battery lasts---they can play with them at least an hour on one charge.
Only negative, one failed after about a year---some kind of problem with the electronic controls.

Sea Doo Dolphin Scooter is everything we thought it would be. Runs great, the grand kids love it. It means hours of fun in the water.

This Sea Doo Scooter is the BEST. It is not too slow or weak to easily pull a 12 year old around the pool. Great for some fun in the pool.

Bought this for my 7 year old, it's a bit heavy but once in the water it's very manageable. I am a little concerned about the warning that the battery can explode if left in extreme temperatures...so far it's a summer hit!

We just bought a second one of these - the kids were having so much fun with the first, we had to get another. The battery takes a while to charge, but it lasts a long time. I think the product description says 1.5 hours and that sounds about right. The kids wish it went a little faster, but still, it is lots of fun in our pond. Someone reviewed it and said that it sinks, but ours does not. If the kids let go, it does float - which is good, so we can't lose it.
