About the Author

Born in 1910, Dr. Maynard Murray recieved his bachelor of science degree in 1934 and graduated from the University of Cincinnati Medical School in 1936. Two additional years of post graduate study in internal medicine followed, then an additional three and one-half years for his specialty, ear, nose and throat.

With a voracious appetite for learning, Dr. Murray taught physiology and directed a number of experiments at the University of Cincinnati between 1937 and 1947. Meanwhile he attended night school to study law and trained in medical hypnosis under Dr. Mullenhoff. He was a member of the Association of Medical Hypnotism, the New York Academy of Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Medical Association, Chicago Medical Society and the Illinois State Medical Society.

In 1947 he moved to Chicago and established a private practice. For the following 25 years, Dr. Murray practiced his specialty, carried on extensive experimentation in sea solid fertilization, and authored at least 20 articles, which appeared in national and international medical journals.

He later lived in Ft. Myers, Florida, where he was Medical Director at Sunland Center. While in Florida he was engaged in commercial hydroponic tomato farming using his patented sea solid technology. Dr, Murray passed on in 1983.

If you really want to solve your food-less food problem then I HIGHLY recommend starting with this book by the late, Great Dr. Maynard Murray who helped pioneer using trace elements on crops and trees. I managed to find a company that has very similar sea solids that Dr. Murray used in his experiments and purchased them this past summer. What a remarkable difference in the quality of my garden. Within 15 days, after applying the solids to the garden, all my plants improved dramatically in color, size, flavor( as compared to last year), and produced more too. The carrots had improved the most over last season. Not one plant was touched by the onslaught of Chinese Stink bugs this year!(I Do Not Use Pesticides) It just goes to show you that healthy plants aren't usually preyed upon by pests. All 90 trace elements really are the missing nutrient in our food today. Buy the book and give it try yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Salt from the sea contains nearly every element on the periodic table of the elements... Given the full range of elements to work with, plants can create food for humans and other animals that can help to prevent cancer among many other things... Learn why you should grow your gardens with the addition of a single teaspoon of sea salt per gallon of water... In one study done in the 1950's, Dr Maynard Murray took a group of lab mice grown to develop cancer for study and split the group in half... They were fed exactly the same diet except that the test group's food was grown with the addition of sea salt... At maturity, the base group exhibited 94% cancer... the test group was only 50% with cancer... The second generation born to the test group resulted in only 2% developing the cancer... Having read this, I built two hydroponic units to grow lettuce using sea salt in the fertilizer formula...

I have struggled for years to find out what chemical elements plants need and how to apply them without changing the PH of the soil. Here Dr Murray provides the simple answer. Sea water has 90 chemical elements dissolved in it and as long as you use less than 2.5 gallons per 10 square feet your plants will not be harmed by the sodium chloride.
Perfect.

Great information. Will try it on my farm. Looking forward to seeing the results on the plants, the critters and the family. And why the heck aren't more scientists looking into this?!!
