An absolute aussie belter,

Aussie trio Eskimo Joe formed in 1998 in their hometown of Fremantle, a port-town on Australia's beautiful west coast. After voluminous radio play for several tracks from their debut LP "GIRL", lead singer and lyricist Kav Temperly realised that they had better get serious and become a 'real band'. After three long years, a line up reshuffle and a record label change, the Joe boys have come flying back with an absolute ripper of a first single 'From the Sea', off their soon-to-be-released album 'A Song is a City'. "We didn't get to go overseas with the first album, coz of the record company change," Kav explains, "but we'll definitely be taking this one over, in August, after we've taken care of the Australian fans. I'm glad we waited," he continues, "coz I like this album a lot more." Do yourself a favour and get a copy of this single, support some good aussie talent, coz 2004 is the year of the joe!
