The glass shade on this product is produced with chips and many other imperfections. They appear to happen before the glass is actually finalized so that the finished polishing just goes over the imperfections as if no one is inspecting them. If you were to find this product in the the local home store and could inspect it before you purchased, you wouldn't. Also beware that if you ever use free shipping from Amazon that they make you pay for return shipping even on damaged merchandise such as this. That's how I got burned on this one. Buyer beware.

A nice, basic sconce that looks a bit utilitarian but does the job. It's easy to install and fits our needs. The glass fixture had spots that needed to be scraped off but once clean, it was fine.
