We had looked for months for one of these large globes to hang in our entry. I finally found a lighting store that could order it. Before I could order, I found the same light on Amazon.com 50.00 cheaper...AND free shipping!! Yay!!! It was shipped promptly, well packed, and is exactly what we wanted. SCORE!!

I have this same globe, and it lights one end of my kitchen nicely. This is a very economical way to light a room. The fixture is easy to install and when I ordered from Amazon it literally turned up the next day. My parents had a similar fixture in their kitchen in the 1950s, so there is a lot of sentimentality there.

Probably worth getting a dimmer with this since 150 watt bulb throws a lot of light.

I ordered this big beautiful light and absolutely love it. It was easy to install. It hangs over my mid-century modern kitchen table and chairs and adds just the right touch to the room!

We had similar fixtures in this location when we moved into the house. Over the years we tried replacing them with other stuyles and I am glad to have the same appearance now that we did then.

The light looks wonderful in our foyer. The size was perfect, the qulatiy is absolutely acceptable, would have only loved it in chrome/nickel/silver, instead of white. But even then, it's very nice, was easily installed, and arrived promptly.
