Great progressive, concise, and tight indie pop from one of the gentlemen from FIELD MUSIC!!! Great creativity here, I think he plays all the instruments himself. And for what it's worth, the live band consists of the bass player from Tortoise and the drummer of Ambulette.

Very recommended for fans of Field Music, the Jam, Maximo Park, the Buzzcocks, the Futureheads, Wire, Orange Juice, and so on...

Sounds a bit like if Grizzly Bear went a little more post-punk (think XTC) with a little bit of a British accent. A little bit more of a rock, as opposed to layered, sound. It can definitely blend together over its 40 minutes, but it's the type of album that would fair well being shuffled with the rest of your late 00's collection.

I have all Field Music's albums, if you like them then don't delay and buy this album. The drums are so tight and syncopated, the bass growls, and the guitars and singing are shimmering ! Well done, I think this band is going to have great success. Thanks for inspiring me to continue playing and writing my own music.

This album is SOOO catchy- this is the guy from FIELD MUSIC. totally amazing pop- lush and layered. EXCELLENT
