This "latest" novel from Christine Feehan just arrived. Looking at the copyright dates on this "new" novel, I discovered this is just a re-release of two old stories: "Magic in the Wind" and "Oceans of Fire" both of which are stories in the Drake Sisters series.

I hate it when authors/publishers do this. I feel cheated since I already had the two novels in my library. I probably should have paid closer attention. Since I order so many books I usually keep my eye on the published date. This one claims to be a 2010 release - NOT!!!

This was a pre-ordered item. In the future I'll wait until it's actually released then I can check out more of the information such as the real date of publication.

Too much trouble to return so I'll pass this book on to my daughter.

If publishers keep doing this I will NOT buy books by this author again.

I really hate that expression but the publishers pulled a fast one. I bought this book because I like reading C. Feehan's books. It never occured to me that it was a repeat with the date 2/Nov/2010. They should at least include the opinion writings of the books entailed in Sea Storm. What a waste of money. I will not preorder anything of hers again. From now on reviews comes first.

I agree with the previous reviewer. I really dislike when they re-publish a book under the guise of a new release. ARGh.

I have to agree with everyone...I am so mad I spent 10 dollars on a book that wasnt new. I think we should get a refund. I like her books but now will have to think before pre-ordering again.

I went to Christine Feehan's website and it clearly states this is a re-issue of two books. I didn't see where Amazon said it, so it's too bad she gets bad reviews. I've seen Amazon do this with other books. It's a bad practice on their part from the customer's point of view. I haven't read these, but I won't buy them from Amazon.

I couldn't pass up the opportunity to share the frustration of expecting a new release that actually bundles previously released books together. I typically buy Christine Feehan's new books without looking at the description and just about bought this title in error. These books are already in the library. A message to authors and publishers is that bundled books and reissues need to be clearly identified and should not be hidden under a new title. The practice seems fraudulent. That said I am a great fan of Ms. Feehan. The "Ugh" is shared!

I don't know what everyone is complaining about. I thought it was clearly stated that it was a combination of two other books.
Of course, I always read summaries and/or reviews before I buy a book.

I have read these before in the single version. I'm glad they were put together. Makes it nice to go from one story to the next. Please read these you will love them. I did!!!!

This isnt the first time this has happenned. I happen to adore C. Feehan's books. I look forward to them. I thought this was the second book of the Sea Haven series. If the PTB need more money, please find another way to do it. I dislike greedy people and will actually not buy another book of theirs for that reason. Why don't the publishers put a few more books out there during the year instead of ream us for another dollar for something we have already have. Start treating us like fans and not a dollar sign!

Feehan as always leaves you wanting more! You can't book this book down, it hold you in its spell from the first page to the last and makes you want to rush out and buy the next installment. She brings each and every charachter to life.. She has fast become one of my favorite authors.
