Small, dry portions,

Two things disappointed me about this product. First, the portions really are tiny -- two ounces makes a thin piece about two inches by two inches square, and that includes skin. It's enough for a small appetizer for one, but no more. I would not give someone such a skimpy amount as a gift.
Second, the salmon itself is on the dry side. While I don't like my smoked salmon to be *too* oily, this goes to the opposite extreme. The result is not as flavorful and satisfying as I would prefer. I will definitely eat the remaining packs, but would not buy this product again. |
