For the price, this is a great buy! The underwater settings could use a bit more red, but it did it's job in capturing our dive trip. My one concern is with the battery reader - it will go from 3 bars to none in one picture. Sometimes it will tell you the batteries are dead and turn off, but if you turn it back on it's working just fine on full batteries. One time it was flashing low battery and continued to work for another half hour. Other times fully charged batteries would not read at all, so we missed pictures on a few dives due to this. VERY frustrating, always carry an extra set (or 2) of batteries with you when using this camera and never trust the reader to tell you if the batteries are low.

Updated - I have since uploaded the photos to my computer. A small complaint, but I normally organize my photos by day. I set up my camera to the correct date and time. When I uploaded the photos, they were all dated 6/1/2012, despite using the camera for a full 2 weeks. The times were completely random as well, so I couldn't use that to figure out which dates I took which pictures. With underwater pictures, it's very hard to tell one day from the next unless I had some land photos in between to use as a reminder.

Easy to use. The battery life was pretty good - I used it for 6 dives and 2 snorkelling trips, as well as some pictures on land, and the battery was still going strong.

It's a good camera. Tough and easy to use. But it stores pics as jpeg so that is limiting. 9 megapixels may not be enough for super high res. photography. But for a non pro it's a great all around travel and adventure camera.

A camera is a great addition for a scuba trip. This one is simple, but took good (if not great) photos. I'm very glad I bought it before my most recent dive trip.

I spent days comparing my camera options for our snorkeling and whale watching trip to Hawaii. I chose this camera on the recommendation of a family member who does SCUBA and has another SeaLife and a friend who does SCUBA and lives in Hawaii and has this same camera. I was terrified it wouldn't work after one use as so many other reviews stated for other brands so I went with this one. The camera worked great on day one of our trip to Maui. Day two, not so well. It took a few pictures and then decided it wouldn't turn on during our highly anticipated and very wet whale watch. Very upset, to say the least. We followed the instruction manual by soaking the camera in freshwater the night before and tried all the troubleshooting options provided. We even tried using the moisture munchers, replacing the batteries, etc. Since returning home I have contacted Cameta Camera whom I purchased it from and they say we need to contact SeaLife to use the warranty. I will try to update this review when we are instructed on what to do from SeaLife. We need to call Cameta Camera to have them send us a copy of our invoice first and then call SeaLife.

Update 4-15-14 - We got a copy of our invoice e-mailed to us from Cameta Camera and called SeaLife to see what we needed to do. They didn't ask for the invoice but had us send the camera (not all the accessories) to them in New Jersey. We had to pay the shipping to send it there but the nice man on the phone assured me that he would take care of us after telling him how upset we were that we didn't get the photos we wanted while in Hawaii. I was really worried they'd say something wasn't covered under the warranty (because that seems to always happen with warranties, right?).

I have no problems with the camera, but shows with a 32 GB memory card (which I bought extra for $20 with it).
I was told the camera should not be used with a memory card higher than 16 GB or it could damage the camera or not be able to take pictures with it!

First trip out in Cancun - worked flawlessly as advertised.

No problems with leakage or batteries running out - they barely budged after two trips out.

Color is a little washed out as you would expect. To improve consider getting the light kit.

only reason for me to rate this just OK because batteries are not last long. I used this camera under water and it work pretty good for the price. However it is easy to use but it hard to focus and also picture quality is not that good. I think it work better with flash light but it is very expensive. I would recomment to use this camera just for snorkeling not diving.
