This Fastener Snap Tool is not good. It is impossible for a person with normal strength to apply enough pressure to the tool in order to flatten out the snap. It would take a vice grip type plyer to do what is required. I actually applied my vice grip to the tool and was able to accomplish what was needed, but I couldn't make the female snap provided work on the male end attached to my boat . Money wasted in my opinion!

Used on stainless steel snaps, handle broke under pressure of trying to compress snap. Was not able to compress and snaps according to application instructions.
