I bought a Seasense 1500 lb. tongue jack, which had a lifetime warranty. Within weeks of being used around salt water it started to rust. In the summer we use our boat about 2x/week. The jack became unusable within months. The company stood behind the product two or three times and each time the new jack was a poorly made as the last. After replacing three of them, the company refused to replace it. That's not a lifetime warranty. Double-check this, but I think the jack is made in China, which means inferior metals. I wouldn't even trust this company's stainless steel jack. Find another brand to buy.

Getting too old to horse around my boat trailer so I bought this. OK quality and build, seemed similar by description to other offshore built product. That means simplistic fit and finish. but OK for the boat I use only a few times a year. Protective, heavy cardboard packaging.
