Well made product to be sure, but some major problems using them for surfing. Most of the time surfing you just sit around waiting for waves to come through. There is no air movement passing by and through the glasses. Condensation quickly builds up, especially if the water is cold. As someone else has suggested you can move the glasses away from your face and it will help a bit, as well as constantly rinsing them. I find this to be a complete nuisance. I have tried three different SCUBA defogging products but they wash off quickly and your fogging problem is back. This, in my opinion, makes these glasses all but useless for surfing.
I have solved the problem with water droplets collecting on the lenses using a liberal amount of RainX. I suspect using this combination of glasses and RainX during windsurfing,kite-boarding, etc. would be effective. Finally, I have an issue with the fit or rather the design of the frames. There is a huge gap under each eye that light can enter. Giving that sunlight reflects off of the water below you, whether surfing or sitting on your board, this is a big problem. In addition, if you have to keep the glasses away from your face to prevent fogging, then that just make the problem worst.
These glasses have been around for a while and advertised to be used while surfing. I would have thought SeaSpecs would have addressed this problem in regards to surfing, but alas they have been mute about these problems. Even their website is devoid of any effective advice. I surf almost everyday and at many different spots, but I have yet to see one surfer wearing these glasses (or Oakleys version).

Bought these for my husband who recently took up surfing, and he absolutely LOVES them. He had tried using sunglasses, which don't stay on your face when you get smacked with a wave, and lost several pair to the ocean. Many people don't know that going without sunglasses regularly results in serious medical conditions like cataracts and pterygia (aka "surfer's eye"), both of which lead to blindness and require surgery to treat.

Sea Specs are lightweight, sturdy, and the non-removable strap ensures they stay securely in place over your eyes. The tinted glasses (they also come in clear) are polarized and have UVA/UVB protection. Reasonably priced and highly recommended.

I really like my SeaSpecs--this is my third pair. Comfortable, reasonably priced, and just the right amount of shading in the lenses. I bought them mainly for kiteboarding, but now I wear them as my everyday sunglasses, too.

Cons: When water splashes on them, they can get blurry, and it's hard to wipe them clean while riding. I'm not sure if this is specific to the Sea Specs or a general problem for any glasses you'd wear on the water. Also, the strap can loosen over time, and then they can get pulled off your head and lost if you screw up a jump and get dunked in the water with velocity (this is why I'm on my third pair). Solution is to be very diligent about keeping the strap tight, or wear a helmet.

Tip: Over time, the lenses can get scratched which slightly blurs the view, so I'm making an effort to keep them in their cloth bag when not in use.

My husband has a hard time with glasses. They always fog up and cause extreme sweat around his eyes - these glasses DO NOT. He is very happy with the purchase, they are comfortable, great to look out of and exactly what he wanted.

These sunglasses were just as described. After reading other reviews I put anti fog on them as soon as I received them and had no problems whatsoever in the water with visibility. I was able to duck dive and they stayed on perfectly. The only thing I could wish for was better waves on my trip!

This sunglasses stay in its place, you can duck dive and they won't move. The problem is that they get foggy, so you have two choices: 1) Get use to it, or 2) Clean them continuously. I think there are some products that help with the foggy issue, I'll try them. Where I surf the water temperature is about 18°C and outside is about 25°C.

They arrived with one lens popped out. Poor packaging. They fog up. Poor vision while SUP. Unfomfortable. Feels "brittle" on the bridge of nose.

I needed glasses/goggles to keep salt water out of my eyes during jet skiing. Unfortunately, these do let in some water. The Spex Amphibious Eyewear I also purchases on Amazon worked better.
