This game is pretty good. the plot is that your Shamu in Sea World when suddenly a Kraken from the lost city of Atlantis comes and destroys Sea World looking for these tablets that Shamu's friend seal has hidden. The kraken wants to bring Atlantis up from the sea and rule the world. Your goal is to fing 5 tablets hidden around Sea World and then you can go fight the kraken. The first couple of levels are really easy but once you get to level 6 it gets a lot harder. Your underwater and you have to watch out for all these fishes that are out to get you. The only thing is, some of them cannot be destroyed w/ a head bash!! and they are attracted to you and you can't do anything about it!! I just got it for Christmas and overall I think it is a pretty good game even though I am only on Level 6.

Ok first of all..to all the people who don't have a clue on how to save, it's autosave. So whenever you beat a level it is automatically saved for you. Easy enough. I'm a freak when it comes to underwater things so this was fun to play. Very kawaii indeed.

I bought this game for my boys eight and six. Over all this game is really fun. A little hard for my six year old, but big brother is helping him out. I have had to refur to the game book a couple of times! If you listen to the directions you can get the hang of it! If your kids get mad easy then this is not the game for them! Overall it is fun but really for the older age group of kids!
Caring Mom for the Coast

As I type this and as others in this world are probably playing this game, hundreds of dolphins have been killed in Taiji, Japan. They were hunted down in the ocean, driven into a cove by the use of sound via banger poles, then netted off. From there, they're driven into an area blocked off by tarps and various other contraptions made to block the horrors happening inside from the watchful camera lenses of activists on the ground fighting to end this atrocity. Inside of the cove, they're brutally murdered. Those who are not the first to die are left to soak in the blood of their pod members (their mothers, father, brothers, sisters... even mothers with babies aren't spared from the massacre and are forced into the cove, babies in tow, fully aware of what awaits herself and her baby inside) until it's their turn to face the killers. Once slaughtered (and with every step of the process hidden as much as possible via tarps, branches, etc) their bodies are thrown onto another boat and are transported to be butchered for consumption in filthy warehouses. The dolphin/whale meat the people of Taiji and surrounding towns are fed is highly toxic. The mercury levels are above those approved by the Japanese government itself and as a result, the people of Taiji are suffering the damaging health effects of constant and direct exposure to unsafe levels of mercury.
The meat is relatively worthless. It does NOT fetch a high price and is not a delicacy. What drives these killings is the same thing that drives many to do atrocious things: money. Throughout this hunt, trainers from various aquariums stay nearby. They choose any dolphins they think are the most trainable and visually appealing. These unlucky individuals who otherwise would've never seen a wall in their life are then sentenced to spend the remainder of their years performing in a sick circus. The walls that imprison them also serve to deafen them due to the reverberations of sound off of the wall and the effect it has on their echolocation. Often times, these dolphins (as well as captive whales, which are another horrifying and deeply sad story) suffer deeply from mental and physical ailments brought on as a result of the trauma of their (often times hard fought and exhausting, with multiple near-escapes and re-captures) drive into the cove, the slaughter of their pod and the stresses of captivity.
A single bottlenose dolphin will fetch the fishermen approximately $250,000. Without that motivation of profit, these drive hunts would have no means to exist. The waters of Taiji would never run red with the blood of innocent dolphins if it wasn't for the captive industry that SeaWorld has perpetuated and molded into the thriving machine it is today.
The dolphins of the cove that don't die at the hands of the fishermen or end up sentenced to captivity take their own lives. The drive hunts cause the dolphins to panic (especially in panic-prone species such as striped dolphins). As a result, there are many disturbing videos you can easily find via a quick google search showing the dolphins repeatedly throwing themselves onto the sharp rocks lining the cove, ripping their skin and spilling their blood until their bodies can't take anymore and they're finally free of the pain and anguish they've been put through and the fate that awaited them.
Every cent given to any aquarium/etc that has captive cetaceans is money that will continue this practice of torture, imprisonment, and death. Don't teach your children about our ocean's creatures by teaching them that it's okay to mentally/physically damage them, remove them from their homes and their families, then imprison them and make them preform unnatural behaviors for our own amusement. These circuses do NOT teach anything about the natural behavior of ocean mammals and anyone who contributes money to this industry in any way after learning the truth of it has blood on their hands as well. Please watch the Academy award-winning documentary (by Ric O'Barry, the former trainer of the dolphin in the popular series Flipper who turned dolphin activist after the dolphin he was training for the show, Kathy, died in his arms and he set out to tear down the industry he unknowingly helped to create, believing Kathy committed suicide.) The Cove, spread the word about the documentary and the industry, knowledge is power and public awareness and outrage is the only way the killings in Taiji and elsewhere will ever be brought down.

My daughter absolutely loves anything to do with Shamu. So when she saw this game she had to get it. She was not disappointed. She has spent hours playing on it.

This is a very fun game and very challenging. It is worth buying. I enjoy it very much.

I was looking forward to a great underwater game, and this really let me down. It is so boring to play. I tried quite a bit, thinking it had to get better, but it didn't. Save your money.

My niece has been in love with Shamu since she was tiny. I bought this for her 6th birthday and it's been a huge hit. She calls me every time she gets to a new level which has meant a lot of 7am calls! She says it's her favorite DS game.

My 9 year old had a very tough time when she first began playing this game. It was confusing to her what she was supposed to do and how to save her game, but once she got the hang of it she loves it. It helps that we recently went to Sea World and saw the real Shamu show.

This is a great game for a wonderful price. It's especially neat if you have been to Sea World.
