Great information!, April 26, 2009
This review is from: SeaWorld, Discovery Cove & Aquatica: Orlando's Salute to the Seas (Paperback)
I am a travel agent, specializing in Disney and Universal travel. I use this book to back up the information I have learned in taking the SeaWorld Travel Agent courses.
I have found that the information in this book is accurate, up to date (as long as you get the latest version) and very helpful.
The descriptions are unbiased and very good. This book covers all three parks in great detail. Wonderful for first time visitors or repeat guests.

Fantastic Tour Guide, April 12, 2009
This review is from: SeaWorld, Discovery Cove & Aquatica: Orlando's Salute to the Seas (Paperback)
We have four children and have previously done Disney (twice) and Universal. We enjoyed Orlando and wanted to do something different. We were thinking about SeaWorld and Discovery Cove, so we thought this book would be helpful in our decision making. It absolutely was! Mr. Monaghan has taken his other excellent tour guide, "The Other Orlando", and narrowed its focus to the World of Discovery theme parks (currently owned by Anheuser-Busch but maybe not for long). The book obviously covers SeaWorld, Discovery Cove, and Aquatica, but it also covers sister parks Busch Gardens and Adventure Island in Tampa.
We found the book to be well organized and easy to read and comprehend. Mr. Monaghan has obviously visited the parks and often gives his personal opinion on things. Each park has its own chapter and he includes very detailed information from how to buy tickets, prices, when to visit, what time to arrive, descriptions of the attractions, places to eat and even information on hotels located close to the parks. He includes addresses, phone numbers, and website addresses. The information is quite accurate for 2009.
Overall, any reader of this book will find some information that will be useful. Given the current price of about $11 - less than the price of parking for one day - you can't go wrong. We just returned from our visit and although we would have had fun anyway, the book made it easier and certainly less stressful.

Well worth the read for any family planning a trip to Orlando, May 15, 2009
This review is from: SeaWorld, Discovery Cove & Aquatica: Orlando's Salute to the Seas (Paperback)
The ocean is filled with marvelous wonders, but it's a dangerous place to just dive into. "Seaworld Discovery Cove & Aquatica: Orlando's Salute to the Seas" is a guide to Seaworld in Orlando and what one can find for family entertainment at the renowned aquarium. Seaworld and the surrounding parks have much to offer travelers to embrace for their entire family, including plenty of things to do after the children have gone to bed. "Seaworld Discovery Cove & Aquatica" is well worth the read for any family planning a trip to Orlando.
