I formatted the drive for use with Mac but every time I start to Shut Down or Restart the Mac hangs up and I'm forced to hold down the Mac power button to proceed.
I bought this hard drive just over a year ago and it inexplicably stopped working without warning.

it failed completely but Seagate replace it with refurbished one.
all data has lost anyway.
