Boy did I get chumped! I just bought the folk size for $299 WITHOUT the bag, stand and tuner. That'll teach me to buy from a real store! That beautiful embroidered logo bag cost me another 40 bucks. Woe is me. However, when I saw this hanging on the wall and played it and then looked at the price, $299, I had to buy it. It sounds great and has perfect action. The nut may be a bit narrow for some players but I like it since my hands are small. I also like the plain finish and the woodburning around the sound hole. The wood is 3-layer laminate wild cherry, not solid. I'm not sure how much difference that makes. It sounds great to me, balanced from bass to treble and the trebles really sing. I have two other Godin guitars, both have cedar tops and their own distinctive sound. This one takes its place as the proud little brother of those two.
