I bought this hoping it would work well with my Sony Alpha 350 and luckily it works GREAT with it (glad I didn't have to pay $180 for Sony's sync terminal adapter!) My only complaint about it is that both sync cords I tried with it fit loosely and I had to put a little rubber band around it to keep the cord from falling out. It stays okay, but if it's tugged on a little bit when trying to get the right angle for a picture, it pulls out pretty easily. With all that said, however, it's still WELL worth the money and I'd definitely recommend it.

I've had a Sony Alpha for a few years that I could never use with my studio lights because the Alpha wouldn't take a hot shoe. What a relief to find this adapter, for less than ten bucks, and with a button that lets the flash assembly come on and off with no fuss at all. Now my Sony can be used in the studio in a professional capacity as well as for landscapes and snapshots.

This Sony flash adapter allows us to use flash unit which I had for my Minolta camera on my Alpha 350.

I was trying to use an older flash and it wouldn't work with it. I returned it because since I had to buy a flash, I will get a minolta compatible one.
Cost me a total of $13.00 shipping because I had to pay both ways.

I bought one to use on my Minolta Dimage Z1 and have yet to get it to work. The problem I suspect is with the camera as the flash will fire when I touch the correct copntacts on the adaptor. I wanted to use an external flash that I already have rather than buy a new one. May just buy another camera of another brand.

The hot shoe appears to fit, but neither the PC terminal nor hot shoe will fire two different standard flashes. Might be OK with automated flashes, but my old Vivitar's don't fire.

Great product. Works very well with my camera. Using other Flashes and pocket wizard with it.

Hot shoe fits perfectly on Sony A300 camera allowing use of remote for strobe lights also has a connection for wired sync from light (rather short). Works as expected, good price.

I have a Sony a230 camera and have been looking for a hotshoe. I admit I was a little nervous about purchasing this because the hotshoe I purchased previous to this, wasn't compatible with my camera, whenever I tried to use it. To my surprise, this hotshoe works perfectly. I love it!

It's great to alpha 350 camera, with this I can connect my external lights without any problems and continue taking photos
