I can't believe no one else has taken time to review this lovely book. It shows over several colorful photos of different kinds of seahorses. There are 37 different kinds. The author explains simply but comprehensively the parts of their bodies. The photos are large and brilliant. Correction there are more than several photos, much more!!! Absolutely amazing!!!

Each page of this book is filled with large and colorful photos of the various types of seahorses. I enjoyed this book because I recently visited a live seahorse display at the Great Lakes Aquarium in Duluth, Minnesota. I was unable to get any great photos of the seahorses myself, so I purchased this book. The photos are large, colorful and detailed, easy for adults and children alike to enjoy. This book is great if you are looking for beautiful photos or looking for a book to introduce young children to the world of seahorses.

This book is full of simple facts and wonderful pictures. It's a short read but a nice addition to my daughter's seahorse collection.
