amazing,

This review is from: Seal Skinz Waterproof All Season Socks (Misc.)
I have been using these socks for the last month for winter kayaking. Getting in and out of my kayak I step in the nice cold river water. These socks keep my feet totally dry and are much more comfortable than the gortex socks or rubber socks that I've had in the past. They also offer insulation and allow me to wear fleece socks underneath for added insulation. I've had 2 other friends buy these socks and we all LOVE them.
Note: The top of the sock is not sealed so if you step in too deep of water, it can get in from the top. Seal Skinz do make socks that have a seal at the top although I don't know how good they work.

Great product. They are waterproof as claimed and fit well. Great to be able to go running in the winter without having wet feet! Would highly recommend this product to others who are out in the rainy and snowy weather.

Good for jogging,
This review is from: All Season Mid-Calf Sock - Black (Misc.)
I like to jog at the park in the morning. Sometimes the grass is wet, with dew and my running shoes get soaked. It doesn't matter that much when it's warm, but now that the weather is cooler, I needed to try something. These socks work. When I wear these socks, with a light sock underneath them, my feet stay comfortably warm and dry. After the run, the inner socks are wet from perspiration, but dry from the grass. I guess that wearing these socks for more than a couple of hours would result with enough sweat inside them to be about equal to not wearing waterproof socks, but for an hour run, they work great.

They don't work,

Bought 3 pairs of these in 3 sizes for me, wife, & mother. Took them on a 4-day rafting trip w/ light/moderate rapids. Even on the lightest day, our feet were still soaking wet & cold by the end. Tried 'em with cuff below and above wetsuit -- didn't work in any configuration. Great idea -- just doesn't work.

Outdoor Essentials,

These waterproof socks are amazing! I wear mine cycling during the autumn/fall, winter and spring - whenever getting cold feet would ruin a ride. They are no thicker than a chunky sock, and far warmer in damp conditions. I use these with normal cycling shoes, in conditions well below freezing, whilst my fellow riders switch to bulky winter boots, woollen socks and neoprene covers. They are also really useful if your shoes haven't dried out from a previous day's activity, or from the morning's commute in - putting warm dry feet into wet shoes is no longer a problem.Yes - water does end up inside the sock, but this has come from above the cuff, either from stepping in water that's too deep, or from splashed water running down your leg. It's not a problem - the water soon warms up and I've never suffered from cold feet in this situation. Downsides? Feet can get pretty sweaty in there, so airing them out after use, and washing them and drying them carefully is a must. I do machine wash and low tumble dry mine, but it's important to turn them inside out between the wash and dry; water can't escape from inside the sock during the spin cycle, and they stay soaking wet. If you leave them that way, you'll come back to stinky damp insides. Turn them inside out and all seems to work well.

First read about these in a disc golf forum online. Gave them a try on a cold, rainy day in early spring. Kept my feet comfortable, dry and warm all day. Worth every penny.

These socks are waterproof and quite warm, a great sock for running outside in the winter. I'm really not sure why some other people have had trouble with saying they are not waterproof. I even tested them by putting my sock-covered foot in a sinkful of water... no moisture came through.
When submerged, it almost "feels" like your foot is getting wet, but I think is just because the waterproof membrane transfers the water temperature directly to your skin, almost like it is wet. But if you pull the sock off and feel the inside... it is still dry. The socks are slightly bulky, but not a problem to wear inside my regular running shoes. If you can fit a heavy wool sock inside your shoes, then you can probably fit these socks just fine too. When you wash the socks, be sure to turn them inside and out a few times so they can dry on both sides. I usually let them air-dry somewhere convenient and just turn them inside out a couple times throughout the day. Very satisfied with this purchase, it has allowed me to continue running outside in comfort all winter long... even on 15F days with lots of snow.

These socks are great in the winter, perfect for sloppy wet runs and cold weather cycling. I have used them in winter races when there have been creek crossings and my feet stayed dry.

These socks def are waterproof. Kinda pricey, but they do the job. I tend to wear another pair of thin socks underneath these for comfort cuz these socks are not the most comfortable. Pretty much the only waterproof socks out there.
