Even with some rain, everything in the pack stayed dry.

I bought two of these day for a recent river trip in Alaska (the 35L and the 70L) and they worked great.

The shoulder straps were very handy during the portages.

This pack worked wonders for my trip to the boundary waters this past weekend. The forecast for the trip was rain and boy did it ever rain. All but one day it rained and this bag kept everything dry. Easy to load in and out of the canoe. And no worries of how to position the bag into the canoe whereas The group I was with all had back packs and rain covers.... They ended up with wet gear.

Couldn't have asked for a better bag for my canoe trip.

I bought a 70L one for a 6 day camping trip to the boundry waters canoe area in MN. I got about 40 lbs of gear into it. As long as you pack it right, it is pretty comfortable to carry. The Bag kept all of my gear dry. We never capsized nor test it in the rain. I do not regret this purchase at all and would suggest it to a friend.

I have used this bag several times in Canada's Algonquin Provincial Park, and it has stood up well. After dozens of miles of portaging, the straps are sill comfortable and in good shape. Although the material picks up dirt and scuffs pretty easily, it has yet to lose its waterproofing or wear thin in any spots. Very happy with it.

Just one external pocket would be awesome. It does what it says. Just a big waterproof shell. To keep my loose items organized I bought a few nylon sacks. Otherwise you're digging around in there whenever you need something. Straps are comfy.

This was my only bag on a ten day trip to the Andes mountains in Ecuador. I packed light. It is just small enough that I could take it as a carry-on on my flights. It can be annoying having to take everything out of the top of the bag to access things in the bottom, but I understood that I was going to have to live with that when I bought the bag. I have had no issues with any of the seams on the bag coming loose or any edges fraying or anything like that yet, and I don't see it happening in the near future.

I am only giving this bag four stars because the straps are not the most comfortable on really long hauls. I think that SealLine could really improve this bag by redesigning the waist belt to add some padding and make it more adjustable.

I got the 35 liter bag for a trip to Panama where I will potentially get wet from riding in small motorized craft and possible downpours. It looks like a pretty waterproof bag for that situation. It is smooth and attractive (I got the blue) and very roomy. In packing so far I have been able to fit snorkelling gear and a thick life vest and if I pack carefully, I will be able to fit basic clothes for my week and an extra pair of shoes. The best part is, I am using this as my only luggage and it fits the dimensions of a carry on. The straps feel pretty comfortable, maybe not the most padded you can buy, but seem adequate. The waist belt will make it easier to carry. I can't wait to try it out.

The folding top is too short to assure a reliable seal. The quality of the bag and its shoulder suspenders are excellent, but the overall product can benefit from 3 more inches of material, so 1 or 2 more folds can be performed without bending into the rubberized backpack attachment. You can clearly notice this issue on the online picture... The black belt should not be visible once it is folded at least 3 times.

As it is, the product is OK for a motorcycle, backpacking or any usage in which the intention is to fends the contents from rain and sprinkles only. I won't recommend this product for canoeing, kayaking, rafting, surfing, diving or any usage in which your contents might end floating or under water. If a larger size is not annoying to you, consider moving up to the 70 liters or 115 liters, which are exceptional products and the price difference is minor. My intention was to complement my expeditionary canoeing gear with a more portable bag, but this one did not cut it.

I would have given 5 stars if this bag had just enough material to do 5 good folds without crimping the contents or peel from the backpack harness.
