I used this 1800 miles on a kayak down the Mississippi. The material stoic up to cold better than thicker materials, which tended to crack in cold temperatures. This has a good trade off between durability and lightness. It's a durable, spacious, medium weight bag. I don't buy heavyweight stuff any longer because of the previous comment re cracks.

Ordered this after doing a multiday kayak trip and in anticipation of another trip. Did some research and felt this was the product I needed. During and after the new trip, I was rignt - it was the right product. Delivery was faster than expected which was good and the price was certainly there. While I didn't flip or get wet, nor did the bag - I have the confidence that it will keep its contents dry. The construction of it is such that I am sure it will stay in good condition for many years to come.

WOW! Amazon had a great price on this bag! It works awesome too...I can fit all my tent and sleeping bag stuff in it and cleared out room in the boat for other stuff.

It clips right to the existing deck fasteners for the rear hatch on my Easy Rider Eskimo and stays there with the included bungees just fine.
