This review is from: SealLine Storm Sack 2.5-Liter Dry Bag (Sports)
I use 2 of these (2.5L and 5L) on my whitewater kayaking trips. I keep food and random items in the 5L and my valuables in the 2.5L. I have found that the Otterbox 3250 Case fits perfectly in the 2.5L, which I use when I am really paranoid about my iPhone, wallet and keys getting wet. I don't doubt the waterproof ability or durability of the sacks at all, but you never know when it may get thrown out and cut on a rock, so I don't take chances with my electronics. On a recent trip down a couple Class III/IV rapids, I found myself flipped upside down after getting pinned on a rock, after taking a sufficient drink I pulled my spray skirt off and just let the kayak go. It filled up with water completely and I was unable to reach it downriver for about 30 minutes (I was busy looking for my hat). Both of the storm sacks were behind my seat and completely submerged under water the entire time, but neither one had a single drop of water inside. I was extremely impressed and have bought 2 more storm sacks since(5L and 10L). All my friends use these and none of us have ever had a problem. I usually carry the 2.5L rolled up in my pocket at concerts or anywhere I might encounter an unexpected rainstorm. These work great to keep your phone dry and if you push all the air out when folding, it will fit right down in your pocket. As a side note, the second fold had a few drops around it after they were submerged in my kayak, but as long as you follow the directions and always fold the top over 3 times you'll never have a problem. Sorry for the long story, but these things work great!

This review is from: SealLine Storm Sack 2.5-Liter Dry Bag (Sports)
I'm so glad I got this for my sailing vacation. It was the perfect size to hold my camera, wallet, and sometimes even my sunglasses (in a sunglasses case). Definitely water, sand, and sunscreen proof. It saved my camera when I unexpected fell into the water. The bag / liner wasn't as thick as I expectedly so I was a bit worried at first, but when they fished me (and my SealLine Storm Sack) out of the water, the contents were completely dry. I will never go on another sailing trip without this bag!

If you submerge this bag for a period of time, water will permeate through and into the bag's interior. This bag only works with guarding well against splashes.
