I am a painter by trade from Pennsylvania. One of my employees saw this on some sort of gadget show and we found it online and ordered two of them. It does a great job keeping paint fresh from one day to the next--helping save time with setup every day--paint is ready to go.Only real downsides are that you do need to empty and totally clean the tray every couple days or little dried pieces will start to come off the tray onto your roller. The front leg is a bit flimsy for daily professional use, but has held up so far. Overall a good idea...

Tried out the tray for the first time this week. Left roller and paint in tray over the weekend and it was ready to go on Monday. Cleans out pretty good, holds plenty of paint. Glad I bought it.

I dont usually write reviews but this was a great product that I had too. I bought this product after buying a new house and I needed to repaint some rooms since they weren't finished yet. I read the reviews and bought one recently and all I can say its the best paint tray I have ever used. The lid keeps the paint and roller from drying so i dont have to constantly clean up after applying every new coat of paint.We even went away for a week and came back to finish painting and the paint and roller didn't even dry up! Im also glad it holds a whole gallon of paint as I had three rooms to complete. Great product. Its like my wife's tupperware, keeps everything fresh. I dont know why someone hasn't thought of this before?
