I am a painter by trade from Pennsylvania. One of my employees saw this on some sort of gadget show and we found it online and ordered two of them. It does a great job keeping paint fresh from one day to the next--helping save time with setup every day--paint is ready to go.

Only real downsides are that you do need to empty and totally clean the tray every couple days or little dried pieces will start to come off the tray onto your roller. The front leg is a bit flimsy for daily professional use, but has held up so far.

Overall a good idea...

Tried out the tray for the first time this week. Left roller and paint in tray over the weekend and it was ready to go on Monday. Cleans out pretty good, holds plenty of paint. Glad I bought it.

I dont usually write reviews but this was a great product that I had too. I bought this product after buying a new house and I needed to repaint some rooms since they weren't finished yet. I read the reviews and bought one recently and all I can say its the best paint tray I have ever used. The lid keeps the paint and roller from drying so i dont have to constantly clean up after applying every new coat of paint.

We even went away for a week and came back to finish painting and the paint and roller didn't even dry up! Im also glad it holds a whole gallon of paint as I had three rooms to complete. Great product. Its like my wife's tupperware, keeps everything fresh. I dont know why someone hasn't thought of this before?

My wife has a lot of painting projects, and the Seal Pro enables her to be much more effective.

With a conventional tray, there is a lot of prep as well as clean-up that is required, even to take a short break, which means that normally even a small painting project is a dedicated effort. The Seal Pro enables her to attend to a painting project "as can" between other activities, or to step away from a larger project in order to perform another task.

This is an excellent, innovative product, and one of the few products that works exactly as advertised.

No need for a liner. This cleans out quick and easy. Holds plenty of paint and seals up great in the even you tire before finishing your project.

I purchased two trays. They are good quality, seal well, hold the roller and brush nicely for storage, and they cleaned up well. My only wish is that I could get disposable liners. Good product!

I was using it with deck stain out in an unheated garage when I got pulled away from that job. I sealed the roller up inside and left it there over the winter. It sat out there for months like that. When I finally could get back to the job I was braced for a tough cleanup. HAH! The stain was still useable and the roller was even still useable. I just picked up where I left off. Now admittedly the stain shows signs of having frozen but it's still going on well.

When I wanted to paint a large amount of space I used the tray there too. Dumping in a gallon of paint and being able to drag this thing along made that job FLY. I went through almost 3 gallons of paint in a matter of hours and finished the job.

I bought two of these initially and I want to buy more as gifts for friends who paint. Even friends who _should_ paint. :-)

I'm not a painting contractor but came across this tray on amazon. It works as advertised. Very nice not to have to clean up at the end of the day. Roller and paint looked good even after several days of non use. A must have paint tray if your painting projects are going to take several days.

I saw this in a tool store and bought it. I love it. It saves me from cleaning up every day, just snap the lid on and walk away. Next day open the lid and start painting.

No more wrapping up the roller with plastic wrap or spending time cleaning the tray or wasting money on disposable trays. No more opening paint cans and cleaning the rim. Just don't fill the tray too much, make sure you leave enough room to roll the roller.

I'd say this saves me 20 minutes at the end of a day. I paint every day.

I used the one I bought at a store for paint but I wanted another for primer, the store didn't have anymore and couldn't order one for me.

I found this one on Amazon and snapped it up. It just arrived and the plastic seems to be thicker than the one I already own which can only be good.

One word of caution; I caught my little finger between the lid and tray while snapping it shut leaving a nasty pinch mark, not to mention the pain it caused. Watch out for that, otherwise I highly recommend this tray.

Haven't used it yet. But seen on cool tools. I liked the idea it would hold a gallon of paint. You could snap on the lid and leave the paint brush inside.
