These gloves are what they say they are but don't rely on these to keep your hands warm. They are great for grabbing fish out of the water due to the little grippers on the palm of the glove and do keep your hands dry, but will not keep your hands warm in extreme cold weather (0-40 degrees F). I gave em a try at a lake I visit every year where snow and bone chillin...

These glove ARE warm, and waterproof, and in that resepct they rate very well. But, they don't fit, at least not well enough to use them for hunting. I bought a size small, and they are, except for the thumb and forefingers on both hands, which seem to be a medium forefinger and a large thumb. I bought a size small, and they are, except for the thumb and forefingers on both hands, which seem to be a medium forefinger and a large thumb. Its rather bizarre, and really works against good dexterity, especially for handling a firearm. I was really disappointed about this in an otherwise great product.

I gave em a try at a lake I visit every year where snow and bone chillin winds are common. If you want warm gloves try some insulated down gloves, they worked for me-but do I think these gloves are good-YES, are they worth 45-50 bucks-well that depends on how much extra money you have laying around and your needs. Also these gloves are long in the finger area with about 1/4-1/2 inch extra on each finger, no its not just my hands either, I had a couple friends try them on and its the same result, so keep that in mind when ordering-I got a medium size.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dog treat, November 26, 2011

These were great for power washing our vinyl fence in 30 degree weather (water, wind, cold temps). Note: If water gets in through your wrist, game over. Otherwise, they do what they say they do. It's just too bad they are not animal resistant. FYI, dogs like to eat them.
