This book is an amazing collection of Kiss history from an unbiased first hand participant in the events that formed this band. Lydia's collection of pictures and clippings and just about everything else is just amazing. Many never-seen photographs! Far more interesting than Kisstory 1 and 2 and a much better value. This book is well printed on heavy glossy paper and has a beautiful color collage hard cover. You will not be sorry you purchased this book if you are a Kiss fan!

As a DOD Contractor working the last few years in Iraq, I've found birthdays over here can be mediocre. But the birthday I had yesterday was the best ever! A few months ago an AMAZING friend I have here, Dotty, found out I've loved KISS since I was a kid. She asked me how I got into them and I told her my Mom always supported my music habit by buying any albums I wanted...especially KISS. A week or so later, Dotty asked me my Mom's name. I told her "Patsy", thinking nothing of it. Well I turned 44 yesterday, and Dotty handed my present to me. An autographed AND PERSONALIZED copy of Lydia Criss' book, "Sealed With A KISS". Dotty had emailed Lydia and asked her to personalize it. On the inside page Lydia wrote "To Richard: You were lucky to have a Mom like Patsy. Wish there were more out there like HER! Love, Kisses, and BETH Wishes! ~Lydia Criss" I was FLOORED! This book is incredible and personal. It gives insight into the band and their personal lives like no other book has before!! The pictures are rare and have never appeared in other publications. Thank you so much Lydia, and even more...THANK YOU DOTTY!!

Lydia Criss was once married to one of the most famous musicians (ok, DRUMMER)on the planet, Peter Criss from KISS. This book has been a labor of love over ten years in the making, and it shows. Each and every page oozes with dedication to the cause. It features the RAREST of the RAREST KISS pictures and information and, truth be told, it puts many of the "official" KISS releases to shame. It is PURE GOLD and I recommend it to each and every KISS fan.

I just received Sealed With A Kiss in the mail today (only two days after ordering it...yay Amazon). This book is the ultimate must have for any KISS fan. I was a little skeptical, even after reading the positive reviews that were posted. I have considered myself a very strong source on all things KISS and figured I had seen just about every picture there was to see, so I assumed that this would just be another package of a lot of the shots that I've seen through the years. What has blown me away already is the amazing amount of behind the scenes stuff that Gene and Paul don't really ever delve into with their releases...(including both volumes of the Kisstory books and all three volumes of the Kissology DVD's). In my opinion, it is refreshing to see the band members looking like they once enjoyed each other's company, both on and off the stage. I haven't even begun to read this book yet, as I am still salivating over the photos. Just reading little snipits of the book however, I know that I am going to be even more pleased once I get into the meat and potatoes of it all.
Before receiving the book, I figured that the book would end with the departure of Peter Criss from KISS in 1980, but it doesn't stop there. There are even some photos and references to the late, great Eric Carr. Lydia has done a tremendous job of not only capturing the magic of KISS, but also the love that these bandmates once had for each other. She has done the one thing that I was most skeptical about, she has completely destroyed the first Kisstory book in content and freshness.
Whether you're a die-hard or a new Kiss fan, this book is worth 10 times what it lists for on Amazon. You MUST own this book. How this book has not been picked up for major distribution is beyond me, as it is the absolute BEST Kiss book I have ever seen...and remember, I haven't even begun to really read it yet. Get it, you won't be disappointed.

O.k. This is the best, honest book that will EVER be written by anyone associated with Kiss. THIS IS BETH, Folks. Lydia was there from the very beginning. Her insight on the boys is honest and funny. Every girl who thought it would be cool to marry a musician should read this. She saw the hard work that created Kiss in the 70's was there for ups and downs with Peter.

The pictures are GREAT and the way everything is set up makes for an easy read. I have the Hardback so it just looks great.

There are about 4 books on Kiss that are worth it to fans: This one, Gene's first book about himself(go figure), the book by a girl who use to hang out with Ace and one by a manager (I think Kiss and Sell or Kiss and Tell) from the 70's. The Manager's book and Lydia's book give a good record of life with Kiss in the 70's.

Again, forget what Kiss has become and enjoy it's past.

Great book if you are a Kiss fan. So many funny stories about the guys. Great pictures. Lydia did an unbelievable job. I can't get over how much detail there was. Buy this book now.

Right up front this book is well worth the purchase price. It is loaded with numerous photos that have never been seen before by KISS fans consisting of concerts, 'behind-the-scenes' and the like. Peter Criss and the whole 'KISSworld' are presented in an interesting light. This is quite literally the best book on KISS I've ever read (and I've read almost all of them) since becoming a fan back in 1976! Lydia is quite open about a lot of things that fans may be surprised to read. Truly a "must-have" for any KISS fan's collection.

Lydia Criss has collaborated with a great team to create a quality book that has lots of great pictures, and tells the groups' story from an insider's perspective. The composition of the book is terrific. Fans of Peter or of KISS will definitely want a copy of this book.
