Ann Evans was born in Coventry, England and has three grown up children and four young grandchildren. She began writing short stories and articles for fun when her children were small, it was a hobby that became a full time career.
Ann writes books for children aged eight years and upwards, and so far they have all been mystery, thriller stories with a few ghosts thrown in for good measure.
When not writing fiction, she is a very busy feature writer for a number of different magazines.
Ann loves nothing more than encouraging other people to read and write. She regularly visits schools all over the country to run workshops and give talks about books and writing. For adults she also runs creative writing classes.
