About the Author
David Miller is a former officer in the British armed forces, who served in the Falklands campaign, Germany, Netherlands, Malaysia and Singapore. A pretty good book!,

I got this book while researching pinnipeds for a personal project of mine. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be that much literature out there on the subject, so I was pretty limited in my selection. Still, I enjoyed this book.
PROS: ~ VERY large, attractive photographs ~ Photograph or almost every other page ~ Text was easy to understand ~ Organized into logical categories ~ A lot of good information CONS: ~ Grouped all pinniped behavior together ~ A little too simplistic at times
