Concise information on seals,

This is one of the best books available for general information on seals and sealing. Once you get over the advertisements, which can be annoying, there is a wealth of information available to the reader. I work in the industry and I need relevant accurate information on a wide variety of sealing applications. This is always the first book that I turn to for information.

Content OK, Book construction quality the worst I've seen,

The company I work for bought this book. What surprised me given the price we paid, is how poorly the book is made. When I opened the book for the first time, four pages fell out. It's full of advertisements. They are actually glued to one ribbon placemarker, and tied in a knot to another. This maybe common practice these days, but I was surprised to see how irritating it was made to be in this book. Many of the drawings are poor resolution.
