Works as Designed
We have a high mattress with a feather bed and have tried lots of different sheets. And you know the drill, the sheets don't stay on, or tear at the corners because they don't fit. Worst Fit!
I bought these after I saw Consumer Reports rate them best in their sheet test. I was primarily concerned to get excellent fit and not inflated thread counts. The texture of the 300 tc sheets was as nice as others claiming 600 tc. However, the fitted sheets are way short on my 16.5" S&F Statehouse mattress! I washed the sheets once by themselves according to the tag...

We have a high mattress with a feather bed and have tried lots of different sheets. And you know the drill, the sheets don't stay on, or tear at the corners because they don't fit. These sheets are great, they really stay on the bed -- thanks to a stretchy material that is used at the two ends of the bottom sheet. The stretchy material is strong, and won't tear like in cheaper sheets. The top sheet has ample material to provide spillover on a California King. The colors are decent, the material is satiny smooth and of good, substantial quality. The pillow cases have an internal fold that locks the pillow in so it can't come out of the case at night -- a nice feature. I ordered two sets and would purchase again.

I washed the sheets once by themselves according to the tag in the box. They're at least 4" short on the sides and a couple inches short on each end. They're not even close to fitting over the full side of the mattress. I'm returning them. If these are the "best fitting sheets ever" I'm dreading the prospect of finding something that will work.

We have used these sheets for over 7 years (several sets). They are the ONLY ones I could find that fit our 20" mattress. The elastic sides (on king set) keep the sheets in place and are a wonderful idea.
