We've been pleased with our choice of the Sealy Baby Soft Ultra Mattress. The mattress feels firmer than others we considered. It has a nice comfy feel to it and the cover does clean easily. We'd initially looked at some more expensive models, and based on advice from some more experienced parents and Baby Bargains, we decided to make this slightly more economical choice. I'm glad we did- this mattress has been perfectly adequate. Our son certainly seems to sleep well on it, which I suppose is the ultimate test- or possibly just our good luck =)

We registered for this mattress with the former pattern (but still the Sealy Baby Soft Ultra) and couldn't be happier with it. It was actually only 59.99 then - summer of 2003 - but 69.99 is still a great price for a good mattress.

We have used it every night for 19 months (luckily our daughter is a good crib-sleeper) and she sleeps very comfortably on it. When I see how much some other mattresses are it seems like a waste of money. We have had ours in a vinyl protective cover, also from BRUs for 6.00, so it is in perfect condition.

We are expecting our second baby in June and bought a used crib and mattress for him on e-bay...unfortunately the mattress is smelly (although originally very expensive at $200) so I immediately went back to my registry and added this mattress again!

My boyfriend and I just bought this for our daughter. It really is soft yet firm. It gives her plenty of support, and the clean up is really easy. Just take a rag and wipe the plastic. It couldn'r be better!!! All of our mattresses in our home are Sealy, and they truly never disappoint.

When my son was born we used our Pack-n-Play as our bassinet. However, he would not sleep well in it. My husband and I thought he was just not a good sleeper. However, at 4 weeks old we moved him to the crib. He has been sleeping through the night ever since. He looks soooo comfortable in his crib at night. I am so thankful that we bought this mattress. It certainly has made my life easier!

I have been very happy with this mattress. After researching Baby Bargains, Consumer Reports and reading all the online reviews I decided on this one. Good quality but best of all a perfect fit for the delta luv jenny lind crib. Mattress is firm and has the recommended coil number. Do your homework and you will find yourself coming back to this mattress.

This is a very nice mattress and seems very firm, which is good for baby. However, the vinyl covering is in a blue and white check, which can be seen through the sheets. This feature is not readily visable in the product photograph unless you select the other pictures feature. Also, there is a small tear in the binding along the edge of the mattress. Our first mattress was white, and therefore there is not a pattern to be seen through the sheets. A good solution will be to use a mattress pad.

I originally purchased the sealy baby soft with only 80 gauge coils and it literally folded in half, needless to say it was junk. I took it back and bought this mattress, much better and safely firm and my daughter sleeps great on it. Next time I will do my homework.

I bought this same mattress in 2004 for my first son, and we never had any problems. Easy to clean and firm; yet soft enough for my son to sleep through the night starting at 3 months. When we were surprised at the news of a second, I bought this from Amazon on sale--the fabric design is different (blue and white checks), but otherwise it seems the same to me. But one comment: if you don't get it on sale here you might try to buy it in store because the shipping is around $20. It depends on what you're willing to pay for convenience.

I knew that this matress was soft when I purchased it. First off it was bent and I can't get it perfectly flat. Our baby came early, so I didn't have time to exchange it or return it. Maybe I just wasn't expecting it to be so soft. From the review, I was expecting it to be firm, but with a little give. That's why I gave it only 3 stars. The price is nice, but I think next time, I'll go for something firmer.

We picked this up for our 4 month old, and so far she seems very happy. Sleeps soundly all night, and the mattress is firm enough that I'm not waking up every five minutes worried about SIDS. Read several baby-gear buying guides that said a mid-range mattress from a well-known manufacturer was the way to go, and so far I'd agree with them.
