this mattress was delivered in a day or two. i researched the differences in a foam mattress which i already owned vs this spring coil mattress. i thought it would be fine. this specific mattress was very soft compared to the solid foam one i had. i switched this one to my son's room, he's almost 3 and it's fine for him. way too soft for a newborn or infant.

We bought this Sealy Perfect Rest Matteress for our one month old baby. We liked this mattress, he sleeps well.
Little bit soft... great mattress otherwise...

This mattress is softer than I would have liked. It dips in the middle like my old, used one did. The lining on the product is thick and non-porous, so I didn't have a fear of my baby smothering in the mattress. I just wasn't terribly impressed with the quality for the $.

This mattress is AMAZING! I did not know it was water proof and that makes this mattress SUPER cool lol. And it's very soft and my son falls right asleep easy when I put him down on it. I would totally recommend this to anyone and everyone!

I received the mattress today, and I just don't understand why it has so many 5 star reviews.. First of all, it's unbreathable - the fabric is solid vinyl, and there is only one pocket for air to go in/out. So, it inflates while at rest, but when you lie down, the air comes out gradually through the vent pocket.. it feels like an air mattress with a hole. Then it's very bouncy because of the springs and little padding. Finally it makes a lot of crinkly noises if you move around. It feels like you're sleeping on plastic. Two thumbs down. I probably shouldn't care as much, but I would like for my baby girl to have a comfortable bed growing up, not some weird synthetic contraption.

It's a little difficult to rate a mattress you cannot actually try for yourself but it appears to be a nice mattress for baby. It seems like it will hold up well as the border is reinforced to maintain shape/structure. It is a medium-firm mattress, not too stiff but not so soft that it could be hazardous. It does give a bit when you add weight but I have no fear that it will fold up or sink. Fits perfectly with the DaVinci Jenny Lind crib. Great mattress for the price.

I got this mattress for my first granddaughter. Wanting to know how comfortable she would be, I placed it on the floor and laid on it with her. We were both asleep in 5 minutes. It felt as comfortable as my own mattress, also a Sealy. Way to go, Sealy! My angel will get heavenly rest!

This is the only crib mattress I've owned, so I don't have anything to compare it to (and of course I personally have never laid on it). My baby is only 6 months old, so he can't tell me if he likes it. But this works perfectly for us. I try to follow "the rules" when it comes to baby safety stuff and I know that you're supposed to get a firm mattress. Some people have written that this is too soft, but I don't think it's too soft at all. I don't notice any indentations or anything like that where my baby lies. It seems to be firm to me. And it fit our crib perfectly with no spaces between the mattress & crib. I would definitely buy this again if I had to do it over.

This is a good mattress. Not to firm, not too soft not too hard. My girl is walking and she loves walking back and forth on this mattress. Good deal.

I feel that this was a great mattress for the money. I looked around alot and Amazon.com had the best price and free shipping. It arrived in lesss than a week from the date of order and fits in the crib perfectly. It is firm with out being too hard, several different brands of crib sheets fit well. I am happy with this purchase.
