I'm from the Netherlands and we have here no Sealyham Books at all, This book is welcome and will be helping the owners how they must take care of the Sealyham. Great and Nice Pictures,

I'm glad and happy that there is a new book about the Sealyham Terrier, I'm from the Netherlands, and we have no Sealyham books at all, In Europe there are not so many Sealyham owners and this book will become I think a welcome place in our booklist. Plenty of glossy photos of Sealyhams; but the book was more of an essay about the personal successes one or two breeders. Sadly the book did not focus on the breed qualities or characteristics, and worse the breed data, & facts were often old and misleading. I had misgivings about the book's accuracy and I agree with other reviews in here that the book's content was old and out of date by 20 years. The book is probably not a good value

A rehash of his old book. Nothing new here

The book was ok, but the same pot boiler material appended to most generic dog books. There wasn't anything special about the book in that regard, not much history or description that distinguishes the breed from anything else.

This is a disapointing re-publication of the 25-30 year old Seymour Weiss book that many of us bought ages ago. The information is incredibly old and outdated and worse, misleading. Having reviewed the book, it was not informative either. Some of the photos were cute, but in my opinion many of other the photos showed dogs which were poor representatives of the breed. Overall, a crummy buy, and not recommended.

A re-do of his book back in the 60's. Most of the book is generic information in nature and has not substantially changed in the meantime. Superficial effort at best. I would recommed looking for for his earlier book which at least gives some minor historical look at the breed or buy another more informative text if one is looking for good information on this wonderful, happy breed.

I had a chance to read the book. The photos are new and there are lots of them, but I was also very disappointed in the book's content. The material in the book was really old & out-of-date. The book is a reprint of an old book published decades ago. I am not sure why the publisher went to the trouble of printing this book without checking facts to make sure things are current. I am not sure if this book is worth the trouble.

This is a that the Sealyham Terrier has needed for many years. Although not a in depth history of the breed, as I am certain it was not intended to be, this book provides all the necessary information for a new Sealyham owner and also anyone who owns or is owned by a terrier. Insightful text, the breeds standard and an explanation of why these traits are needed and preferred along with wonderful photographs that are reproduced beautifully. Documented here are some of the current top winning show dogs and much loved pets, written by a well respected AKC Judge.
