The BEST seam ripper that I have EVER owned! It REALLY does work on the end that pulls out the stitches! It works like a pencil eraser would and does not leave even ONE fuzz! THE ONLY dislike I have is that the end that "erases" the stitches won't go onto the opposite end of the ripper so it is in 2 pieces. It would be MUCH easier to handle if it fit together like other rippers do. I would have given 5 stars if it had.

I don't really use the seam ripper section much but absolutely love the rubber parts that grab the threads. It's simple and fast to just run it across the area where I've used my (other) seam ripper to get out all the tiny little loose pieces. I suppose an eraser would possibly work about as well, but I really like this thing and wouldn't be without it. Note - there's absolutely nothing wrong with the seam ripper part, I'm just used to using a smaller one so it's easier for me to just use the other kind. However, I have used this one as well and it works just fine. Strongly recommend!!

I love to stroll through the "what's new" section of tools for quiltng. I found these lately so I wanted to see if they did as described....and they do !! It's a nice small seam ripper and when you rub the cap over the fabric, it picks up all the little bits of cut thread...no more picking !!

I love this little gadget! As a beginner, I have gotten a lot of use out of this already! Really love the thread remover end; makes removing the loose threads easy. My sewing instructor recommended it & I am glad she did!

I love the seam fix - it is great for removing the threads left behind from general seam ripping, but when used in conjunction with an electric seam ripper (a small electric shaver-style device handy for long seams that need to be undone) it is AWESOME!

Only two quibbles - the cap can't be placed on the top of the ripper when in use, and it doesn't feel too ergonomic for seam ripping. However, I mostly bought it for the rubberized part so the seam ripping is secondary for me.

This worked better than anticipated. No more finger picking little peices of thread that get left behind. Works from both ends of seamfix not just the top the bottom works like an erasor and the top for the longer threads. I love my new fun sewing tool.

This product is very useful and reliable for those hard to get at seams but depending on the item that you are using it on.Be careful that you don't stick yourself pointing it towards your fingers.Thank you for your time.

It doesn't 'erase' the broken threads, but it does pull them out very nicely. They'll still be on your fabric, but they're much easier to clean up with a quick swipe of a lint roller. You have to 'erase' with the sides of the rubber bulb, not just the very end.

The seam ripper is nice and sturdy as well.
