disappointment, March 21, 2011
This review is from: A Search for God, Book 1 (Hardcover)
I've read a couple of Casey's books and actually liked them, even though I realize his platform is very religious. His story is very interesting and his gift was no doubt amazing. However, the more of this book I read, the more disconnected I was becoming. I couldn't even finish it. I don't even think I got half way through it. Restricted and narrow minded, but this was his path that worked for him. I always say....there are just as many roads to God as there are to Wal-Mart!

A WAY OUT OF CONFUSION, October 2, 2010
This review is from: A Search for God, Book 1 (Hardcover)
This book was compiled by a small group of people who wished to grow more closely to that each considered to be perfect. They wished to be the perfect housewife, father, mother, boss, lawyer, doctor, son, daughter, etc.
Each chapter was dwelt upon long enough in the writing that all understood the principles involved, before moving on to the next. The first was cooperation, because they could not work together and contribute without it. Then came the part about knowing self, and how this has its effect on self esteem and relationship with others. Of course, recognizing the ideal follows. It is said that if the ideals are recognized at all three levels, there will never again be confusion...for you will know what and in who you believe.
There are 12 chapters in this book plus a chapter on meditation. Book 2 has another 12 chapters and one on meditation. These books have sufficient information to change lives!
