This is the first book I've purchased on this subject, and it turned out to be more of a "picture book" than I had expected. Although the pictures are beautiful, I would have preferred more written information to be included.
Overall, it's probably not a bad "first" book to have on Pompeii, but a bit more written info. would have been nice.
